but brutus and the guys are busy conspiring

the starship commanders will appear without fail
but brutus and the boys are talking to their man
and they'll pay in stardust for a foolproof plan


caesar's talked to the chinese and the indians
he's even got it worked out with the bohemians
he'll be takin over the western federation
as the emperor for life and the key to salvation


caesar's inner ring is everywhere at the venue
the guards are laser clad poison detectors vet the menu
but caesar is surrounded by supporters and friends
and he's not known to have an enemy among them


caesar was a nice guy
we'll build a memorial to him
but now he's got to go
caesar was a beautiful friend
but now he's just ambition's bitter agent


brutus lets the assassins in through the corridor
first they take the outer guards
and then the ultra warrior
they get caesar, drive away with him
out through the galaxy in their space van


the next day is one of weeping and fearing
the terrorists want a ransom of a trillion
there's great love for caesar but no one will pay
terrorists who threaten authority


72 hours they keep caesar alive
till brutus informs them they can now let him die
there's mourning for caesar followed by consent
that only brutus was now fit to be president
